Eddie Murphy Michael Jackson Scene from Raw Author: Dosis Von Lustig Author: Videos ,

This Eddie Murphy Michael Jackson scene kicks off Raw, his epically hilarious stand up special from 1987. This was back when Eddie Murphy ruled the comedy landscape. There was no one nearly as funny as he was since Richard Pryor, and arguably no one since has been anywhere close to as funny. From his movies of this era and his stand up specials (both Raw and Delirious) Eddie Murphy put together a body of work that is almost untouchable.

This video clip of the beginning of his special Raw kicks off with a hilarious skit and then goes right into Eddie talking about that the crap he got from Michael Jackson for making fun of him. It's classic Eddie Murphy doing a sort of over-the-top voice of an imaginary Michael Jackson who is actually a "badass behind closed doors." This scene would be a precursor to Dave Chappelle's Wayne Brady bit where a guy everyone thinks is a milque toast is actually a totally insane freak behind the scenes.

This is Eddie Murphy at his finest, and with all the amazing moments in Raw, it's easy to forget the very beginning of it which is why this Eddie Murphy Michael Jackson scene deserves a little more attention. Also because it's very funny.
