Best National Anthems Around the World Author: Dosis Von Lustig Author: Videos
With the FIFA World Cup in full swing in Brazil, it's great that we get to not only see all the amazing players from around the world, but hear the best national anthems of the countries the players come from. So that got us inspired to create our own list of the best national anthems around the world. While not all of these countries are represented in the FIFA World Cup, each of these national anthems are considered winners in our book.

Russia
This is definitely the most moving of all the national anthems. It’s bold and fierce, though it keeps it’s shirt on (unlike a certain Russian leader).

Italy
This might the most spirited of all the national anthems. You can imagine a pizza pie being thrown into the air with an extra topping of smiles.

Japan
A beautiful piece of music, this is definitely something we’d play again just for pure listening pleasure.

Bangladesh
This is a traditional anthem, though that shouldn’t take away from it’s sheer beauty and scope.

Jamaica
This sounds oddly similar to Bandgladesh’s national anthem, but at some point they do all start to sound alike. Hey, Jamaica. Why not do something more fun, like reggae?

Israel
This is powerful, beautiful, and at the same time sad.

France
If you’ve watched European Vacation, chance are this one will sound very familiar to you if you’ve never heard it before. It’s a gorgeous piece of music and one that is very recognizable.

Hungary
Given all the amazing musicians that have come out of Hungary, it’s not surprising that National Anthem of Hungary is beautiful in it’s own rite.

United Kingdom
Another classic, this ranks among one of the most recognizable and powerful national anthems around the world. Though for awhile we thought the United Kingdom’s National Anthem should be the Sex Pistol’s version of "God Save the Queen."

United States
Much like the United Kingdom National Anthem, this one is extremely powerful and of course recognizable. Although when we hear it we automatically want a hot dog. Is that Pavlovian?
